Abstract

Governance academic process is one form of infrastructure utilization of information and communication technology in higher education. University of Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) is one of the campus that have using the governance academic process in conducting its function as a higher education. Governance academic process consists of multiple systems where each system has a database structure and different system models. This has become one of the major constraints in generating relevant data and real time. This research aims to integrate existing systems in the governance academic process at UAJM. The approach can be used to integrate these systems, the application of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture). In this research, the authors use the web service in applying SOA to the integration of governance academic process in UAJM. Results from this research is a system that is integrated with web service application to meet the criteria SOA-based systems. The impact of an integrated system will produce accurate data and real time for each user.Keywords: data integration, SOA, web service

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the development of financial management system of budgeting and financing that is integrated and connected. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary to develop to integrate previously created systems into one large and integrated system part so that systems that can support the budgeting, financing and management processes of university finance that include the principles of SNPT are accountability and transparency. The authors hope the financial system of budgeting and financing can help to manage finance, budgeting and financing are integrated and comprehensive and provide transparency in financial management at Atma Jaya University of Makassar. Keywords: : Accountability, Finance, Management, Transparency, University.

Abstract

A university needs IT strategic planning to be able to guide the future development of the university, one of them is Atma Jaya University of Makassar. The IT Implementation at Atma Jaya University of Makassar is currently still minimal because it has not utilized information technology well and thoroughly for operational purposes. This is due to the absence of IT strategic planning for the long term. The previous research has designed IT strategic planning using the Mobile Enterprise Architecture Framework. The documentation results from IT strategic planning have some recommendations of IT projects that can be implemented. The priority selection of IT project becomes very important in achieving IT strategic planning that has been designed. This research applies Analytical Hierarchy Process and utilizing Expert Choice tools to get priority from 20 recommended IT projects that related with IT strategic planning. There are 7 criteria of IT project implementation that is obtained from Head of BAPSI UAJM. The result of this research shows that IT project which is the main priority to be implemented is the Development of Student Portal and Lecturer with the priority scale of 0.109 and the lowest priority IT project is the Procurement of LAN Cable (0.011) because the network infrastructure in UAJM is currently sufficient to support the designed IT strategic planning.Keywords: IT strategic planning, project priority, Decision Support System, Analytical Hierarchy Process

Abstract

This research focuses on the utilization of Location Based Service services to find the location of the nearest workshop in Makassar. Workshop is a place to fix two-wheeled vehicles and four wheeled and more. When damage occurs at the time of use, the vehicle owner is generally confused to find the nearest workshop. In addition, the nearest workshop may not necessarily have a good reputation so that vehicle owners prefer to enter the vehicle in the official workshop. The purpose of this research is to design an information service for customers to find the nearest service based on Location Based Service, so that later both general workshop and authorized workshops can compete to provide good service for customers. Location base service is a Service using Google's global positioning service (GPS) and cell-based location technology. In addition, the LBS consists of several components, namely mobile devices, communication networks, position components, and service and content providers. The research method uses a waterfall method consisting of the stage of analysis, design, design and implementation. The results of this study is an application that can receive requests for repair or service periodically by the owner of the vehicle to the workshop. When the repair shop receives requests for repair or maintenance, the workshop will pick up the vehicle.

Abstract

Information technology faculty has a tracer study do once of 4 year and using the method telephone survey, has several constraints are the cost prohibitive and graduates difficult to remember the study materials and the courses are used. The graduates have the research now only recording title the research, include the research in hard copy, but has some deficiency are limited storage, difficulty finding and finding the research and if the research and cd is lost or scattered, it is difficult to know and find the research and has no research group. We need the development from tracer study based on job description and alumni research, the information is needed to know success of the education process and to measure the performance of the study program through the resulting outputof graduates who can meet the demands of the era and reference for the development and implementation of the quality assurance system of education. In this research used waterfall method, produce an application capable of online registration and the process of entering personal and work data information is done by graduates voluntarily (self-interest) and research is submitted at the time of file collection, as well as evaluating performance and producing evaluation report of graduate profile profile based on graduate work, research and overall (graduate work and final assignment).Keywords: Registration, Evaluation, Performance Graduate Profile, Tracer Study.
